Showing Possession with 's
We use 's to show that something belongs to someone or that someone is related to someone. For example, 'Ana's book' means the book belongs to Ana. 'Peter's brother' means Peter has a brother. If a plural noun already ends in -s, we just add an apostrophe, like 'My parents' house'.
- Add 's to a name or title to show possession (e.g., Ana's book).
- Use 's to show relationships (e.g., Peter's brother).
- For plural nouns ending in -s, just add an apostrophe (e.g., parents' house).
Zanimivosti
- My mother's name is Katja.
- My parents' house is big.
- My grandmother's hobby is gardening.
